Where did the CVT?
Vesta and Lada Xray were we to the court. But they have one big problem — no sensible automatic transmission (robot AMT does not count). Because all are waiting for the appearance of cars with a CVT. The CVT is well known to us by Renault from the line Stepway and crossover Kaptur. Found it on cars under the brand Nissan. To run routes and learn about traffic, talking on the phone, send and receive messages, messengers, listen to music online — now you can do this without taking your hands off the wheel. For this there are intelligent voice assistants.
Multimedia system is equipped with a new high resolution screen and the possibility of response to multiple touches (multitouch), and a more effective microphone feedback.
We have already tested such a car in. It turned out that the ground clearance under the metal protection of the engine is about 210 mm — a great result. VAZ engineers coped well with its task: to provide the market with promising new version Iccrea without worsening it is important to mount the machine feature.

What’s with the prices?
Most affordable Xray Cross with a CVT will cost 845 thousand rubles. It will be a Classic with the Optima package, which includes air conditioning, sound system, 17-inch alloy wheels, electronic stability control function antipropulsives and assistance when starting on a slope. Well, the most expensive Xray Cross CVT is estimated at 970 thousand rubles. It turns out that Lada Xray Cross with a CVT 50 000 rubles more expensive version with a manual gearbox — it is a reasonable fee.
