Toyota and the experts of the American company, DG-Spec has prepared a tuning version of the Sienna model. After some improvements in the minivan, equipped with a slightly modified the base engine, was able to win on the track sports car Chevrolet Camaro SS of the previous generation.
The race was held at California’s Willow Springs track. Toyota Sienna R-Tuned, equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine, drove a 2.7-kilometer distance in 1 minute 27 seconds. This is a second rate faster than the Camaro SS coupe, which is equipped with a 6.2-liter unit V8 engine with 426 horsepower.
On van mounted racing tires Nitto NT-01, Carbotech brakes, adjustable dampers with sports springs, lightweight battery, and a limited slip differential. In addition, Sienna R-Tuned has a system for supplying cold air to the intake manifold and exhaust system without catalytic Converter.
“We have studied the General dynamics of the machine and made some related changes to make it better able to slow down, to cope and to take turns with more speed. When we released the Sienna SE, we began to explore options for how to make the model sportier.
