The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed law No. 5624 “About some questions of import on customs territory of Ukraine and registration of vehicles on strengthening the adaptive capacity and phased introduction of international environmental requirements for vehicles”. This act, the introduction of environmental standards Euro-6 postponed to January 1, 2020. Thus, according to the law No. 5624 amends the Law of Ukraine “About some questions of import on customs territory of Ukraine and registration of vehicles” to change date of introduction of Euro-6. Namely, the deputies postponed to January 1, 2020, the introduction of norms of Euro-6 for all categories of vehicles. Recall that in the previous edition of the Euro 6 is supposed to be mandatory from 1 January 2018.
As reported by our source, it is now clear the timing of introduction of ecological norms of Euro-6 in Ukraine. This will enable road operators to make appropriate orders for the party of a car with the norms of Euro-5.
Law No. 5624 was supported by 243 votes of deputies. After the signature of the speaker of Parliament and President, the law enters into force the day after its publication. Thus, it will take effect a few days ago.
