Nesmotrya in Europe the coming spring, tests of the prototype are in the harsh conditions of Northern Sweden. At BMW believe that snowy weather combined with 20-degree cold “is ideal to practice settings many vehicle systems, including Dynamic Stability Control and Dynamic Traction Control”.
The basis of the BMW X3 is a new generation formed scalable platform CLAR, whereby the vehicle in comparison with the predecessor has to “lose weight” at least a hundred pounds — to 1700 in the basic version.
In addition, this architecture assumes the appearance in the family of hybrid versions. Earlier it was reported that “x-third” will receive the “charged” M-version with engine capacity of not less than 400 horsepower, enabling it to fully compete with the Porsche Macan Turbo.
The world premiere of “brand new” BMW X3 will be held before the end of this year. It is possible that this will happen in the autumn motor show in Frankfurt.
