The manual warns: when rebuilding the car in front of you only visible part of it, electronics may not recognize this car, and hence will not slow down. Once again we see assistants only work in specific given conditions.

Hold the line: importantly, without sharp turns

System on the Kia Soul keeps the car on the runway to an open area and in the tunnel even poorly lit. The car taxis, and stores the allowed distance. At 73 km/h beep sounds to signal that it’s time to get behind the wheel. But do not throw control of the car! And rightly so. Before after warning of such a system disconnected.

Parking: well, very limited space

The handlebars don’t touch, back gear, foot touches the brake. The system tries to Park the car. Looks like we’re down a bike. Pass! Assistant requests that Drive, and now the car will go straight on the bike. No! Requests a reverse gear… and says: “Drive a car yourself”.

The assistant parked the car, though crooked, that is, the system launched the process, even “seeing” the bike, but failed. An experienced driver will be able to complete the Park itself. But then why did he have such a system? Typically, these helpers are drivers with little experience, and, standing as we are now unlikely to finish the work started by the assistant. Although in this situation, the system did everything we could.

Check out reverse: no characteristic crunch

Kia Proceed includes a reverse gear and slowly pass without seeing what is happening behind. Perpendicular passing car. Assistant informs, displaying a warning on the Central display and the instrument display. Great job!

Control for the blind zones: all eyes

Blind spots every car, though, and the visibility is different. Kia Sportage informative rather large mirror. Nevertheless, passing through the adjacent lane the car can be seen not always.
