Bugatti Chiron. Half a minute up to 400 km/h

This is the fastest time for such a maneuver ever achieved and formally recorded for a production car in the world. The achievement is officially recorded by the experts of the organization by SGS-TUV Saar, and this is only the first step supermodels to new world records for production cars in 2018 Bugatti intends to raise the bar maximum speed: Veyron Super Sport with its 431,072 km/h will be left behind.

A world record was set by former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya. He managed to accelerate to 400 km/h for 32.6 seconds on the section length of 2.6 km and at a complete stop it took 9.3 seconds and 491 meters. Interestingly, the Colombian refused to wear a helmet and other protective gear: “Chiron instills a feeling of safety and reliability that I completely relaxed.”

Opened on 12 September, the Frankfurt motor show, Bugatti brought a hypercar from a limited edition of 500 copies, 300 of which are already sold. Chiron, the cost is 2.5 million euros, and this price does not include the VIP option and delivery of the car.
