At the Frankfurt motor show hosted the premiere of a restyled Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
The SUV received a new hood and bumpers, other headlights, redesigned rear lights. Also changed the front fenders and rear door. Available for the model new 17 – and 18-inch wheels.
As seen in the photo, the exterior design of the Land Cruiser Prado is now as close to the flagship Land Cruiser 200.
Length of the restyled SUV has increased by 60 mm and reached 4 mm. 840 Lights and vents positioned so that the car will not hurt anything to safely overcome fords and maneuver in complex terrain.
Ground clearance remains the same – 215 mm. “New impressive angles of entry, exit and ramp – 31, 25 and 22 cm, ensure maneuverability in any situation,” said Toyota.
In the cabin there is a redesigned center console, steering wheel from LC 200, new multimedia system with 8-inch touchscreen, as well as more high quality materials.
Instrument panel with four dials, made by technology Optitron, colour screen a diagonal of 4.2 inches, it displays trip computer information, tips, Navigator and various warning messages.
In the redesigned Land Cruiser Prado is now available from three to five variants of mode: standard Eco, Normal, Sport added Sport S, Sport S+, these modes affect the characteristics of the steering, gearbox and damper. And the Multi Terrain Select system appeared six, auto mode the MTS AUTO.
The engine range has not been changed. In Western Europe the novelty will be available with 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine that develops 177 HP and 420 Nm of torque. In other markets, the SUV will be available with 163-horsepower gasoline engine capacity of 2.7 liter and four-liter six-cylinder unit issuing 282 horsepower. Drivetrain — six-speed “mechanics” or “automatic” the same range.
