Leaders of the new proletarian state, the first time carried on the rich legacy left over from the old regime. In 1921, for the leaders of the socialist state purchased the first several brand new British “Silver spirits” with full name Rolls — Royce 40/50 HP Silver Ghost. One of the cars is altered by a scheme developed by the head of the Royal garage, the Frenchman Adolphe Kegress, who left Russia after the revolution. At half-track 75-horsepower Rolls-Royce in winter Hills drove Lenin in the last years of his life.

Huge armored American Packard Twelve. The cars of this brand with a 12-cylinder 7.7-liter engine capacity of 180 HP drove General Secretary Stalin from the mid 1930s until the late 1940s.

The first domestic car, won the attention of the Secretary General, — ZIS-115, the design of “Product 100”. Limousine weighing about 4 tons was equipped with a 162-horsepower souped-up engine.

Several of the approximately forty manufactured in 1948-1949 armored Abstracts have been preserved to our days. Okay, but which drove Stalin, not significantly no one can say.
